Enjoy these bits of our trip last November!
We had a great visit with Jessica and her kido's. We left Sequim pretty late and on the way home we missed a turn off. For those who have traveled this dark road you can understand how this happened! :) Anyways, had it not been for taking the wrong route we wouldn't have discovered Bowen Street.Lyle pulled over and we took pictures with cell phones and cameras. I meant to remember what city it was but it only had 3 streets and maybe 10 buildings!
I doubt we will ever vacation there.

Take a look below at the video. It shows it all... from excitement to shock! I was second guessing my choice of letting her get her ears pierced and when we walked into the store my eyes welled with tears. My innocent baby girl will turn into a bigger girl in a matter of minutes! Ugghhhhh... She looked up at me and said "It's gonna be OK Mom". She was so sweet to reassure me.
In hindsight I wish I would have made her wait another year.
I should have stuck to my gut feeling. However, maybe the choices or decisions I make now with the kido's will help me strengthen my gut feeling. Then when the time comes for a BIG decision, I will have the ability to trust it.
